Babies have very delicate skin and one should be careful applying any home remedy for diaper rash. The best way to get rid of those rashes is rinsing the diapers with water that contains vinegar. Simply put a few drops of vinegar and use that water to wash the diapers. Alternatively, you can take cotton swab, dip in the vinegar and apply onto the diaper area that comes in contact with baby.

Sitz bath is one of the best home remedies for diaper rash. The water should be tested first and is kept hot up to an extent that that infant can bear. Let your baby sit in that for a few minutes to heal the diaper rash.

Use the powder that contains natural herbs possessing antiseptic properties. You can powder the area of the baby that contains diaper rash. Also, put powder onto the diapers to avoid the situation getting worse.

Check that your baby has good bowel movements. The stool that is acidic in nature is more likely to produce diaper rash. Feed the baby regularly and avoid eating junk, oily, canned or packed food. Also, give up spicy and sour tasting food that would help your baby getting rid of diaper rashes.

Frequently change the diapers as keeping the same diaper for longer duration could be the cause for diaper rash. Each time, wash the baby’s bottom with fresh rosewater; this is one of the reliable home remedies for diaper rash.
